What's this October 2003 date all about
In October 2003 the firmware on the FarSync cards programming the PCI chips operation was changed. The test software designed for cards supplied after that date is likely to show errors on cards supplied before that date even though the card may be working perfectly well in the PC. The older test software can be used to test cards produced after October 2003, however, this is not recommended as the later test software performs additional tests.
